Jerzy Ulatowski’s ‘Movement of Life’ lecture in Bucharest, June 2011

On 30 June, 2011, Jerzy Ulatowski, a former prisoner at the Auschwitz WWII concentration camp, gave a lecture at the Foundation’s ‘Movement of Life’ event in Bucharest, Romania. Describing how, together with his mother and sister, he was deported to Auschwitz in August 1944, he summarized his experiences and told the story of how he eventually managed to escape in early 1945. As well as being a member of the International Auschwitz Committee, Mr. Ulatowski is also President of The Association of Children of Former Prisoners of Nazi Concentration Camps.
