The victory over heart disease is now in sight!This video shows footage from the historic press conference, given on July 2, 1992, in San Francisco, USA, in which Linus Pauling and Dr. Matthias Rath issued a "Call for an International Scientific Effort to Eradicate Heart Disease." Their simple but powerful message was that the scientific basis and means to eradicate heart disease – the number one cause of death in industrialized countries – were now available. In the press conference, Pauling states that Dr. Rath had made what he considered to be the most the most important discovery in heart disease – perhaps even in medicine itself – of the last quarter of the 20th century.
