Responsibility for a healthy world

A Europe by the people for the people

No Dictatorship by the Pharmaceutical Cartel for us and our children!

If you do not live in EuropeA few months ago I shared with you my analysis about the present political situation in an article headlined “The Icarus Sect”. In this article I named the interests who for decades have been robbing our planet and are willing to sacrifice the health and the lives of billions of people in the interest of the chemical/pharmaceutical and oil Cartel. The name “Icarus” is taken from a figure in Greek mythology: The arrogant Icarus – armed with artificial wings made out of wax – tried to fly higher and higher. He succeeded until he got too close to the sun and its heat melted the wax of his fake wings. Inevitably, he fell from the sky to his death.

Precisely this is the fate of today’s “Icarus Sect”, those interest groups who have been ruthlessly seeking to monopolize health, food and energy supplies for the people of our planet. In order to continue their unscrupulous investment business, they were willing to bring wars, epidemics, hunger and economic crisis to our planet.

The truth about ARVs –
and what their promoters don't want you to know

For 25 years, the promoters of anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs have been advocating these drugs as the treatment of choice for AIDS with claims of life-saving and life-prolonging properties. The promoters of these claims include certain media, ARV-supporters among the clinical community, activist groups as well as politicians around the world.

However, the scientific validity and truth of these ARV-related health claims has never been proven in well-controlled, long-term scientific studies. Moreover, the promoters of these drugs never had to defend these claims in court and under oath.

That has now changed. In 2007, a case brought against the British newspaper the Guardian presented for the first time the opportunity to challenge these claims in a court.

– Dedicated to Thabo Mbeki and Salvador Allende –

The following webpages are dedicated to the progress of mankind towards a world of Health and Social Justice. These goals cannot be achieved without abolishing the imbalance between rich and poor nations.

Lessening the dependency of the developing nations on the economic power of the industrialized world has been a hallmark of progressive movements and its leaders. Conversely, cementing this economic imbalance has been the target of those interested in preserving the status quo.

In the modern world it has become increasingly difficult for the interests behind the status quo to maintain the economic imbalance with sheer force. Increasingly they are forced to refrain to hiding their true intentions and even parading under the flag of progressive movements.

Looking back over the past 12 months, there can be very little doubt that, from the perspective of the large multinational producers of genetically modified (GM) seeds and food, 2008 was a very bad year indeed. Far from moving closer towards the GM industry’s cherished dream of seeing foods grown from patented GM seeds becoming the norm on our dinner plates, it would seem that consumers are, if anything, becoming more suspicious than ever regarding these products. As such, with reports of the dangers of GM food becoming more common almost by the week, and even Prince Charles – the heir to the British throne – now openly stating that the widespread use of GM crops would be the biggest environmental disaster of all time, it is no longer too difficult to envisage a future where the consumption of naturally-grown organic foods, rather than GM foods, might become the norm.

So, as we head into 2009, let’s take a look back at some of the key reasons why the GM food industry’s senior executives and shareholders may be looking with increasing trepidation at the year ahead.

The medical profession would have you believe that only patented synthetic chemical drugs can prevent or treat disease. However, when it comes to identifying what is and isn't good for our health, it should be remembered that the medical profession has been wrong before.

Reputable cancer research journal invites Dr. Rath to be a reviewer – and then retracts...

We are at a turning point in the history of medicine, moving from a medicine that serves the interests of the pharmaceutical investment industry, to a medicine serving the people. This goal, based on Dr. Rath’s scientific discoveries, is the foundation and impetus for the work of our Health Alliance.

Developments in recent weeks have shown how close we have come to achieving this goal through the ongoing and increasing confirmation of the findings of Dr. Rath’s scientific research. It is as though the floodgates have opened and all of a sudden there is a surge in the number of new studies proving the effectiveness of vitamins and other micronutrients in combating cancer. The following events also show clearly how incisive this turning point is:

On 5 August 2008, Dr. Rath was officially invited by the editor-in-chief of the “International Journal of Cancer” (IJC) Professor Harald zur Hausen, to be a scientific consultant for this journal. Besides being editor-in-chief of the IJC, Professor zur Hausen was also Director of the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) in Heidelberg for two decades.

The scientific rationale for the use of vitamins and other micronutrients in supporting immune function is not new. Over the past century, no less than nine Nobel Prizes have been awarded to vitamin research, the majority in relation to the importance to their essential role in optimizing immune response.

This nutrient community health program was the largest program of its kind ever carried out since the AIDS epidemic began. The results from the program show that micronutrients can improve the symptoms of immune deficiencies – including those characterized by the WHO as AIDS-defining.

From the point of view of its founders, Wikipedia must surely be seen as a rip-roaring success. A multilingual, Web-based, free content encyclopaedia project, created in 2001 and written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world, it has rapidly grown to become one of the world's top ten most popular web sites. These days, when conducting a Google search on almost any subject, in the majority of cases a Wikipedia article will come up either top of the rankings or, at the very least, amongst the top ten results. Increasingly however, serious questions are being asked regarding the reliability of its content.

On June 13, 2008, the court in Cape Town cast a verdict in a case brought by two organizations that promote toxic ARV drugs as the solution to the AIDS crisis: the “South African Medical Association” (SAMA) and the so-called “Treatment Action Campaign” (TAC). While SAMA is a well known organisation with its leadership closely linked to the drug industry, the TAC may not be known beyond the borders of South Africa. Its activities can best be described with two statements which the same Cape Town court – in a previous case – did not find objectionable: “they organize rented crowds for the drug industry” in order to “force the government [of South Africa] to spend millions of Rand on toxic drugs.”

Following the storm of protest that erupted after the recent Cochrane review’s publication, it didn’t take long for evidence to emerge that certain newspaper editors had put their journalists under pressure to back it. The British journalist and writer Rachel Johnson, for example, had written an article entitled ‘Not so vital vitamins’ for the Sunday Times in which she cited the review, stated that vitamins are a waste of money and claimed that taking them may shorten life expectancy.

During April 2008, much of the world’s media was awash with stories claiming that taking vitamin supplements could lead to a premature death. According to a review conducted on behalf of the Cochrane Collaboration by researchers at Copenhagen University in Denmark, studies using beta-carotene, vitamin A and vitamin E showed “significantly increased mortality”, whilst trials of vitamin C “found no significant effect.”

Read on to discover what the world’s media didn’t tell you about this Cochrane review, including its potential historical parallel with crimes committed by the managers of the I.G. Farben cartel.

Any lingering doubts as to which political direction the European Union is now heading in were cleared up once and for all recently when Justice Commissioner Franco Frattini announced plans to fingerprint and screen all visitors who cross its borders. From 2009 it will become mandatory for all EU passports to include a digital fingerprint and photograph and, from 2011 non-EU citizens who apply for a visa will have to give their biometric details.

South Africa is the one of the countries hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic – and a multibillion dollar market for pharmaceutical drugs. Now, two organizations promoting these antiretroviral drugs (ARV) have staged in a showdown in court between these highly toxic ARVs and the use of micronutrients as key factors to fight immune deficiencies. The “South African Medical Association” (SAMA) and a group of ARV street promoters have jointly challenged Dr. Rath, a pioneer in vitamin research, and the South African government. Now Dr. Rath has filed his analysis of pharmaceutical colonialism and its genocidal consequences for the people in the developing world in this landmark court case, a must-read for everyone interested in health and social justice.
