While a recent poll suggests more than half of Americans now believe the procedure used by U.S. political parties to select candidates for the presidency is “rigged”, the fact is that Republican contender Donald Trump’s alleged mob connections raise equally serious questions about democracy in America today. Described by CNN – citing an interview with investigative journalist Wayne Barrett – as being "extraordinarily extensive," Trump’s suspected ties to New York and Philadelphia organized crime families are said to go back decades.

The central core of the work of our Foundation involves fighting to improve human health, with the ultimate goal of saving millions of lives. In this respect, any improvement in human health has to start with science. This year, in the field of cardiovascular research, I am pleased to report that we have moved forward scientifically in a very significant way. Building on work I began over a quarter of a century ago, we have reached a point in history where the stage is now set for the dream of abolishing heart disease as a cause of human mortality to become a reality.

With their recent election the people of Spain have written history and created a signal of hope for the preservation of democracy in Europe. They have identified multi-national corporate interests, and their masterplan to build a corporate dictatorship, as the main cause of the current crisis across Europe. Moreover, they have also exposed the Brussels EU as the politburo of these interests; the German petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical cartel – The Oil and Drug Cartel – as its driving force and primary economic profiteers; and Angela Merkel as its political enforcer. The public statement of Pablo Iglesias on the eve of the election summarized this analysis for the world to see: “Spain will never again be the periphery of Germany. We will restore the meaning of sovereignty.”

Since 1988, December 1st has been designated as World AIDS Day. One of eight annual global public health campaigns marked by the World Health Organization (WHO), the main focus of this year’s initiative was “emphasizing that expanding antiretroviral (ARV) therapy to all people living with HIV is key to ending the AIDS epidemic within a generation.” Apparently, it would seem the officials in charge of this campaign are unaware of the large volume of scientific studies now documenting the effectiveness of vitamins and other micronutrients in controlling HIV and AIDS. Either that, or they are deliberately misleading the 35 million people worldwide reported to be living with HIV/AIDS, as well as the 1.5 million people who die each year from AIDS-related illnesses.

With criticism of soaring drug prices continuing to grow, health data firm IMS Health has forecast that the pharmaceutical industry’s annual global sales will increase by 30 percent to reach a dizzying 1.4 trillion dollars by 2020. Worryingly, the forecast furthermore predicts that by the same year more than half the world’s population will be living in countries where drug use will exceed one dose per person per day. Driven by the skyrocketing prices of new drugs, scandalous price rises for existing ones and disease-mongering propaganda that attempts to place entire populations into at-risk groups requiring drug treatment, there can now be no doubt that the “business with disease” is financially unsustainable. Unless mankind is therefore able to free itself from the strangulating grip of the Pharma Cartel, national healthcare systems will become increasingly at risk of bankruptcy.

Results presented at a recent annual meeting of the American Academy of Rheumatology show that supplements of chondroitin sulfate, a natural substance that is an important structural component of cartilage, are significantly better than celecoxib, a multi-billion dollar anti-inflammatory drug, in reducing long term progression of knee osteoarthritis. Carried out by researchers from Canada over a period of two years, the study found that, unlike celecoxib, chondroitin sulfate was able to slow down the progression of osteoarthritis by reducing the loss of cartilage. Noting that this is the first time the superiority of chondroitin sulfate over celecoxib has been demonstrated in a study of this type, the researchers concluded that their findings have important implications regarding the usefulness of the supplement for long term management of knee osteoarthritis and its impact on disease outcome.

As Dr. Rath has recently pointed out, the international attention being given to Ty Bollinger’s 'Truth About Cancer' documentary is a wake-up call to the world’s political decision takers. In this situation, the blatantly false claims that the pharmaceutical and medical status quo has made about chemotherapy and radiation as treatments for cancer are no longer credible. With public trust in the efficacy of these toxic approaches collapsing, people are increasingly turning to natural health approaches that can block all key mechanisms that make cancer a deadly disease. Promisingly, therefore, a recent study from the United States provides further evidence that, in the scientific arena, the orthodoxy is beginning to wake up and take notice.

A new pilot study from Scotland has shown that taking vitamin D can lower blood pressure and improve exercise performance. Carried out by researchers from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and presented at this year’s Society for Endocrinology annual conference, the study notes that volunteers given the supplements for two weeks were able to cycle for longer with less exertion than those given placebo pills. Commenting on the results, researcher Dr Raquel Revuelta Iniesta said they suggest that “taking vitamin D supplements can improve fitness levels and lower cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure."

A new study measuring the incidence of medication errors and adverse drug events during the perioperative period – immediately before, during or right after a surgical procedure – suggests that mistakes or adverse events occur in around 50 percent of operations and in 5 percent of drug administrations. Examining 277 randomly selected operations conducted at Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States, the study, which will appear in Anesthesiology, the official medical journal of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, found that a third of the errors uncovered resulted in adverse drug events or harm to patients.

As many women have learned over the years when visiting their doctors, conventional medicine essentially sees the loss of muscle strength that occurs with ageing as untreatable and inevitable.

After the age of 30, human beings typically lose 3-8 percent of their muscle mass each decade. Over time this results in a decrease in muscle strength and a consequent increase in falls and mortality.

However, a new study of postmenopausal women from Brazil has shown that vitamin D3 supplements can significantly increase muscle strength, protect against muscle loss and reduce the risk of falls. Impressively, the researchers observed these benefits in women even as late as 12 or more years after menopause.

At the opening of this week’s United Nations General Assembly meeting, the focus was on the Sustainable Development Summit in which world leaders committed to 17 new goals intended to make our planet a better place. Predictably, a great deal of prominence was given to the highly laudable aim of ending global hunger by 2030. But with around 795 million people, or one in nine of the 7.3 billion population of planet Earth, still suffering from chronic undernourishment, the impression given by much of the mass media is that achieving this objective would be a gargantuan and expensive task necessitating the widespread adoption of GM crops. When one looks behind this deceptive analysis, however, a very different reality emerges.

In a cutting edge experiment, researchers in the Netherlands are preparing to start a major study in which prisoners with anger management problems will be given food supplements to determine whether improving nutritional status can reduce aggressive and antisocial behaviour. Building on previous work done in this area, inmates in five Dutch jails and two youth detention centres will be given vitamins, minerals and fish oil from early next year. If the approach proves successful, the country’s justice ministry plans to expand the program and offer the supplements to further prisoners with violent tendencies.

A recent perspective published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) argues that the United States government should change its position and require labeling of genetically modified (GM) foods. Entitled ‘GMOs, Herbicides and Public Health’, the article points out that sharp increases have taken place in the amounts and numbers of chemical herbicides applied to GM crops and that still further increases – the largest in a generation – are scheduled to occur in the next few years. With GM crops now being the agricultural products most heavily treated with herbicides, the authors state they believe that the time has come to thoroughly reconsider all aspects of the safety of plant biotechnology.

In a dramatic development, a senior German diplomat, Michael Steiner, has told Spiegel magazine that, in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks in the United States, the George W. Bush regime had considered using nuclear weapons against Afghanistan. Stating that the U.S. government had “played through all the possibilities,” he categorically confirmed that the papers for such a plan had been written. What this therefore tells us is that Dr. Rath’s analysis of the risks of nuclear war occurring in the immediate post-9/11 years, as outlined in his Open Letters at that time, was absolutely correct.

Healthcare industry analysts IMS Health recently reported that global spending on pharmaceutical drugs exceeded an astonishing $1 trillion in 2014. Equating to around 1.3% of global GDP, this means that the amount of money earned by the drug industry in a single year now exceeds the GDPs of all but the world’s 15 wealthiest countries. Inevitably, therefore, at the very highest political levels, an income like this buys a vast amount of power and influence. As such, with drug industry annual earnings forecast to increase still further to $1.3 trillion by 2018, the need to move away from this unsustainable model and establish a new healthcare system, based upon scientific breakthroughs in the areas of nutritional and Cellular Medicine, has never been greater.

Providing further evidence of the blind alley that orthodox approaches to cancer treatment are now lost in, a new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has confirmed that chemotherapy does not extend life for cancer patients diagnosed as terminal. Far from being of benefit, the researchers found the treatment was associated with a reduced quality of life in patients who were otherwise in reasonable health and active at the start of the study. Moreover, in yet another this-is-not-rocket-science finding, terminal cancer patients who didn’t have chemotherapy were shown to have a better quality of life than those who did.

Throughout our lives, omega-3 fatty acids play vital roles in maintaining our health. Required for the proper functioning of the heart, brain, eyes and other organs, the omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are particularly crucial as the human body can only manufacture them in limited amounts. Significantly, therefore, research suggests that supplementing our diets with these key micronutrients can provide a wide variety of impressive benefits to our health.

Twenty five years ago the world was celebrating the end of apartheid in South Africa. In only a few short months, following a struggle that had lasted over 40 years, the ban on the African National Congress (ANC) had been lifted, Nelson Mandela was released from prison and the stage seemed set for the dream of a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world to become a reality.

Today, however, with over 26 percent of South Africans unemployed, poverty rife and anti-immigrant unrest spreading, Mandela’s ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities seems further away than ever. So what’s gone wrong?

With 70 million Americans known to be taking mind-altering pharmaceuticals and the number of mass shootings in the United States having risen sharply in recent years, speculation has been rife for some time now that certain classes of prescription drugs may be a contributory cause in homicidal behaviour. Further attention was drawn to this thought-provoking hypothesis just recently when the co-pilot responsible for the deliberate crashing of Germanwings flight 9525 into an Alpine mountain was subsequently found to have been taking antidepressants. Now, for the first time, a study published in the World Psychiatry journal has found that painkillers and sedatives are associated with a significantly increased risk of committing homicide.

In a randomized placebo controlled trial, men with precancerous lesions in their prostates took capsules containing 400 mg of the green tea extract epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) per day or a placebo. Carried out over a period of one year, the study found that the men who took EGCG experienced a significant decrease in levels of the cancer biomarker prostate-specific antigen (PSA). This is important as when assessed in combination with other key risk factors, high levels of PSA can indicate an increased risk of prostate cancer.

Whilst effectively amounting to a belated admittance that the vast majority of cholesterol in the human body is produced by the body itself, the fact remains that, both in the US and elsewhere, our governments are still not telling us the whole truth. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, we are still apparently supposed to believe that cholesterol is the cause of heart disease.

It doesn’t matter which continent you live on, or in what country, the effects are very similar in all of them. The provision of truthful scientific information regarding the numerous ways in which natural therapies can prevent, alleviate, treat or even cure disease is subject to widespread regulatory controls and strict governmental oversight at both national and international levels. The world stands at a crossroads. After a century long rule over this planet the corporate interests behind the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry – the Oil and Drug Cartel – see their multi-trillion dollar markets being threatened by the rapid advancement of new technologies, namely renewable energy and science-based natural health. In this situation, the Oil and Drug Cartel's global markets of outdated technologies can only continue in a dictatorial setting.

Lech Kaczynski (18 June 1949 - 10 April 2010); President of Poland 23 December 2005 – 10 April 2010.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski – the twin brother of Lech Kaczynski, the former Polish president who was killed in a plane crash in Russia in April 2010 – has recently spoken out and stated that his brother’s death is looking increasingly like an assassination.

Currently head of Poland’s Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw had already previously suggested that the incident, from which there were no survivors, may not have been a pure accident. But his latest comments have gone even further. Calling for the Brussels EU to investigate, as quoted by the Associated Press, he has now openly suggested that “if there were explosions (on board the plane), if this catastrophe looks increasingly like an assassination, then this means there is a new quality to international politics.”

Comments by Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki on the observational study on micronutrient intake and mortality rates in older women

In the following article, I will address the real goals of publishing the above study in this form, at this time, and explain why – despite being based upon a questionable evaluation of often incomplete observational data – it was accompanied by so much publicity.

As we shall see, there are many specific issues which undermine the validity of this study.

Groundbreaking new book by Dr. Rath and Dr. Niedzwiecki makes the unthinkable possible

Since the dawn of history, mankind has been haunted by a disease that has remained largely incurable – cancer. For almost a century, this disease has been the target of an investment business – the pharmaceutical industry – that has turned this epidemic into a multi-billion dollar business.

This book marks the end of this tragedy and paves the way to turn cancer into a manageable disease. The natural health approaches presented in this book have been shown to block all key mechanisms that make cancer a deadly disease.

The Referendum for Natural Remedies petition – a campaign which aims to guarantee free access to scientifically based natural health remedies for all European Union (‘Brussels EU’) citizens – has now been signed by over a quarter of a million people. Coordinated by the Dr. Rath Health Foundation under the banner of the European Referendum Initiative, the petition’s signees come from all 27 Brussels EU member states.

However, despite the impressive and growing public support for this campaign, the Dr. Rath Health Foundation is fully aware that the Brussels EU has no intention of listening to the demands of European citizens. Operating outside the basic principles of freedom and democracy, the Brussels EU – by definition – is a dictatorship. Neither the 27 ‘Commissars’ making up the European Commission – the executive level of the Brussels EU – nor even the Brussels EU President, Herman van Rompuy, have been elected by the people. Instead, the power of the people to determine their government has effectively been transferred to corporate interests.

A recent European Commission working document on health claims for foods and food supplements provides definitive proof that one of the key goals of the Pharma Cartel and its political stakeholders in Brussels is to severely curtail the spread of lifesaving information on natural health throughout the whole of Europe.

For example, whilst the document suggests that some health claims for vitamin C may be permitted in relation to the important contribution it makes to normal collagen production, the Commission seems ruthlessly intent on banning the majority of claims that make mention of this micronutrient’s numerous other health benefits. As such, by trying to limit the spread of natural health information in this way, the “Brussels EU” is attempting to eliminate a key threat to the financial interests of the multi-trillion dollar “pharmaceutical business with disease.”

They’ve Done It Before – They Try It Again Today!

The goal of the special corporate interests – namely the Oil and Drug Cartel – in the US today is to transform democratic society into a corporate dictatorship, thus enabling multi-trillion dollar corporate interests to exert direct control over the political executive and the country. Towards this end they are instigating the radicalization of society and financing the election campaigns of their political stakeholders. This strategy is an exact copy of the Oil and Drug Cartel’s takeover of Germany in 1933 – a strategy executed with the help of the Cartel’s political and military stakeholders, the Nazis.

Public Information for the People of America and the Governments of the World

New technologies like hydrogen, solar and other renewable forms of energy, promise to replace mankind’s dependency from oil for public and private transport, utilities and all other areas of energy. What will bring annual savings of thousands of dollars for every family, millions in savings for businesses and billions for national economies around the world will, on the other hand, lead to losses amounting to trillions of dollars for the Oil Cartel – and ultimately to its demise. In this desperate situation, the Oil Cartel is ready to use all means conceivable to prevent its meltdown – even at the risk of drawing the whole of mankind into the abyss

The largest oil spill in US history was caused by British Petroleum (BP), a prominent member of the international Oil Cartel. While the environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico has now lasted for months, the decisive question still remains unanswered: Who benefits from this crisis?

On Friday, 16th July 2010, the New York Times published an Open Letter by Dr. Rath that answered this question from a historical perspective.

In the days leading up to its publication, it became clear that the New York Times' decision to publish this exposure would threaten the very existence of the international Oil Cartel.

A mere 48 hours after the New York Times accepted publication of the Open Letter, BP claimed the oil spill to be over.

The Lisbon Treaty, which became law in the European Union in December 2009, is a clear and unmistakable step towards the implementation of a European-wide dictatorship. Intended to legitimize the construct of the “Brussels EU”, the treaty forms the basis of a future Europe that is fundamentally undemocratic.

Click here (PDF, 826 kB) to learn the facts about this treaty that the Brussels EU isn't telling you.

In the April 23, 2010 edition of the New York Times newspaper – and in the supporting online documentation – Dr. Rath exposed the sobering facts about the Nazi roots of the so-called ‘European Union’, the ‘Brussels EU’.

Within days after the exposure of these facts, the Euro fell to an all time low on global markets. What was interpreted by some as an ‘attack’ by greedy investors on the ‘Euro’ was in fact much more – the resounding ‘No’ of world opinion to the Nazi-rooted ‘Brussels EU’. But the financial markets were merely the peak of the iceberg for the loss of political credibility of this construct.

Call to President Obama following the Nuclear Security Summit:

Earlier this month the world witnessed a successful international 'Conference on Nuclear Security' in Washington D.C.. While this was an important step towards President Obama's vision of a world free of nuclear weapons - the biggest threat to world peace was not addressed there.

Did you know that the 'Brussels EU' is creating its own 'European Army' - outside NATO and under the control of Sarkozy's nuclear command - in order to pursue the global interests of the Oil and Drug Cartel?

Brussels EU calls for curbs on citizen petitionsBrussels EU officials recently announced that they want to limit the demands European citizens can make in petitions by bringing in tougher rules on the amount of personal data required to be given by people signing them. Under the plans, citizens’ proposals that go "against the values of the union" – which, let’s not forget, are actually determined by the Brussels EU itself – will not be accepted.

Lest anybody still be in any doubts as to the Brussels EU’s intention to replace democracy with dictatorship, let’s examine the truth behind some of its claims.

Don’t allow yourself to be fooled by the agents of disinformation and confusionDuring the closing months and weeks of 2009, our Foundation received numerous enquiries from people wanting to know whether Codex would “go into global effect on December 31, 2009”. Citing claims they had seen on a website belonging to Rima Laibow and Albert Stubblebeine, they expressed concern that the use of vitamins and other natural health therapies would be prohibited worldwide after that date. Fortunately however, the date of December 31, 2009 had no practical significance to Codex whatsoever. In other words, vitamins and other natural health therapies were not prohibited worldwide by Codex at the end of 2009 and nor were they ever going to be. So who are Rima Laibow and Albert Stubblebine, and why are they seemingly so intent upon seeding disinformation and sowing confusion amongst the natural health movement?

From time to time, people write and ask us why the media doesn’t give more publicity to the issues that we cover on our website. If all of the things on the Foundation’s website are true, they reason, then wouldn’t the media be reporting on them as well?

To illustrate why such thinking is naïve, and in response to the many requests we have received to speak out about the TV item on Codex that was broadcast in May 2008 on the Tros TV channel in the Netherlands, the following article by Paul Anthony Taylor, the Foundation’s External Relations Director, explains why Big Media cannot be seen as an ally in the campaign for vitamin freedom.

In the last years we have continued our research on various aspects of influenza virus, including cooperative studies conducted with virologists and researchers in other countries.

No Dictatorship by the Pharmaceutical Cartel for us and our children!

If you do not live in EuropeA few months ago I shared with you my analysis about the present political situation in an article headlined “The Icarus Sect”. In this article I named the interests who for decades have been robbing our planet and are willing to sacrifice the health and the lives of billions of people in the interest of the chemical/pharmaceutical and oil Cartel. The name “Icarus” is taken from a figure in Greek mythology: The arrogant Icarus – armed with artificial wings made out of wax – tried to fly higher and higher. He succeeded until he got too close to the sun and its heat melted the wax of his fake wings. Inevitably, he fell from the sky to his death.

Precisely this is the fate of today’s “Icarus Sect”, those interest groups who have been ruthlessly seeking to monopolize health, food and energy supplies for the people of our planet. In order to continue their unscrupulous investment business, they were willing to bring wars, epidemics, hunger and economic crisis to our planet.

The truth about ARVs –
and what their promoters don't want you to know

For 25 years, the promoters of anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs have been advocating these drugs as the treatment of choice for AIDS with claims of life-saving and life-prolonging properties. The promoters of these claims include certain media, ARV-supporters among the clinical community, activist groups as well as politicians around the world.

However, the scientific validity and truth of these ARV-related health claims has never been proven in well-controlled, long-term scientific studies. Moreover, the promoters of these drugs never had to defend these claims in court and under oath.

That has now changed. In 2007, a case brought against the British newspaper the Guardian presented for the first time the opportunity to challenge these claims in a court.

The following webpages are dedicated to the progress of mankind towards a world of Health and Social Justice. These goals cannot be achieved without abolishing the imbalance between rich and poor nations.

Lessening the dependency of the developing nations on the economic power of the industrialized world has been a hallmark of progressive movements and its leaders. Conversely, cementing this economic imbalance has been the target of those interested in preserving the status quo.

In the modern world it has become increasingly difficult for the interests behind the status quo to maintain the economic imbalance with sheer force. Increasingly they are forced to refrain to hiding their true intentions and even parading under the flag of progressive movements.

Looking back over the past 12 months, there can be very little doubt that, from the perspective of the large multinational producers of genetically modified (GM) seeds and food, 2008 was a very bad year indeed. Far from moving closer towards the GM industry’s cherished dream of seeing foods grown from patented GM seeds becoming the norm on our dinner plates, it would seem that consumers are, if anything, becoming more suspicious than ever regarding these products. As such, with reports of the dangers of GM food becoming more common almost by the week, and even Prince Charles – the heir to the British throne – now openly stating that the widespread use of GM crops would be the biggest environmental disaster of all time, it is no longer too difficult to envisage a future where the consumption of naturally-grown organic foods, rather than GM foods, might become the norm.

So, as we head into 2009, let’s take a look back at some of the key reasons why the GM food industry’s senior executives and shareholders may be looking with increasing trepidation at the year ahead.

Reputable cancer research journal invites Dr. Rath to be a reviewer – and then retracts...

We are at a turning point in the history of medicine, moving from a medicine that serves the interests of the pharmaceutical investment industry, to a medicine serving the people. This goal, based on Dr. Rath’s scientific discoveries, is the foundation and impetus for the work of our Health Alliance.

Developments in recent weeks have shown how close we have come to achieving this goal through the ongoing and increasing confirmation of the findings of Dr. Rath’s scientific research. It is as though the floodgates have opened and all of a sudden there is a surge in the number of new studies proving the effectiveness of vitamins and other micronutrients in combating cancer. The following events also show clearly how incisive this turning point is:

On 5 August 2008, Dr. Rath was officially invited by the editor-in-chief of the “International Journal of Cancer” (IJC) Professor Harald zur Hausen, to be a scientific consultant for this journal. Besides being editor-in-chief of the IJC, Professor zur Hausen was also Director of the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) in Heidelberg for two decades.

The scientific rationale for the use of vitamins and other micronutrients in supporting immune function is not new. Over the past century, no less than nine Nobel Prizes have been awarded to vitamin research, the majority in relation to the importance to their essential role in optimizing immune response.

This nutrient community health program was the largest program of its kind ever carried out since the AIDS epidemic began. The results from the program show that micronutrients can improve the symptoms of immune deficiencies – including those characterized by the WHO as AIDS-defining.

On June 13, 2008, the court in Cape Town cast a verdict in a case brought by two organizations that promote toxic ARV drugs as the solution to the AIDS crisis: the “South African Medical Association” (SAMA) and the so-called “Treatment Action Campaign” (TAC). While SAMA is a well known organisation with its leadership closely linked to the drug industry, the TAC may not be known beyond the borders of South Africa. Its activities can best be described with two statements which the same Cape Town court – in a previous case – did not find objectionable: “they organize rented crowds for the drug industry” in order to “force the government [of South Africa] to spend millions of Rand on toxic drugs.”
