Dr. Rath Health Foundation

Responsibility for a healthy world

Global Hotspots in the Survival Battle of the Pharmaceutical Drug Cartel

Educating South Africans about Vitamins against AIDS

South Africa is the one of the countries hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic – and a multibillion dollar market for pharmaceutical drugs. Under the mask of a “Mother Theresa”, pharmaceutical multinationals are using South Africa as a testing ground and as a multi-billion dollar market place for their controversial, toxic – and often deadly – antiretroviral (ARV) drugs. These derivatives of highly toxic cancer chemotherapeutics are being promoted to millions of people in Africa and other parts of the world – including children and pregnant women. Under the pretence of curing the immune deficiency disease AIDS, these toxic drugs have long been known to do exactly the opposite: they attack the immune system, damage and destroy it and – thereby – make the already existing immune deficiency condition worse.

The Dr. Rath Health Foundation has been instrumental in providing the people of South Africa with the truth about ARV drugs and the facts showing how the drug industry even abuses entire organizations to promote their business at the expense of the lives of some of the most vulnerable people on earth.

Moreover, although medical science has found nothing that can cure HIV/AIDS, the results of a nutrient community health program in people living with AIDS in South Africa - organized and conducted by the South African National Civic Organization (SANCO) using micronutrients provided free of charge by the Dr. Rath Health Foundation – has documented the possibility of halting and, in many cases reversing, the symptoms of AIDS as assessed by the patients themselves. The results of this program add further weight to independent research showing that the clinical benefits of micronutrient supplements have been demonstrated in HIV/AIDS.
