Vitamin C May Fight Cancer in High IV Doses
USA, September 13, 2005
Dr. Mark Levine of the US National Institutes of Health today reported findings that vitamin C may fight cancer in high IV doses.
In five out of nine cancer cells line exposed to the ascorbate form of vitamin C there was a 50% decrease in survival of the cancerous cells. The study concluded that these results can influence future drug development. The results also confirm Dr. Rath's findings published in 2002 regarding the role of vitamin C in slowing down tumour growth, immobilizing cancer cells and preventing their spread.
