The pharma industry does not include children in clinical research for fear of mentally scarring them, according to ResearchNurses.co. Comment: This admission illustrates one of the many key differences between synthetic patented drugs and natural therapies. Whilst drugs can have serious and even deadly side effects, cause lasting harm and scar patients for life, natural therapies using vitamins are so safe that, according to data collected by the United States National Poison Data System, there was not even a single death caused by a vitamin supplement in the US in 2010.

War of words erupts over alleged 'conflict of interest' at EU agencies

October 15, 2012

A bitter war of words has broken out between transparency campaigners and an under-fire EU agency. It comes after the European Court of Auditors (ECA) last week published a report into possible conflicts of interest at four EU agencies, including the European food safety agency (EFSA). The Brussels-based campaign group, Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO), which has highlighted various issues at EFSA in particular, said the court's report had condemned a "failure to manage conflicts of interest adequately". It said the court highlighted "significant shortcomings" at EFSA and the European Medicines Agency (EMA), one of the other agencies covered in the report.

Crisis-hit Europeans see cruel joke in EU Nobel

October 12, 2012

"Is this a joke?" said Chrisoula Panagiotidi, 36, an Athens beautician, laughing derisively upon hearing that the European Union had won the Nobel Peace Prize. Three days ago she lost her job, becoming one of the one-in-four Greeks who is unemployed in the fifth year of a biting recession. Told it was no joke at all, her incredulity quickly turned to disgust. "It mocks us and what we are going through right now," she said. "All it will do is infuriate people here." Across a continent where the EU's policies are blamed for deepening the worst economic crisis in living memory, many Europeans said they were simply baffled by the prize. Others were outraged.

Comment: Given the Nobel Committee’s widely trumpeted claim that the Brussels EU has brought peace, democracy and human rights to Europe, we can only conclude it needs a little history lesson: 1) The key architects of the Brussels EU were recruited from among the same technocrats who had previously designed the plans for a post-WWII Europe under the control of a coalition between the Nazis and the IG Farben Cartel. 2) The companies comprising the Cartel were the economic driving forces behind both WWI and WWII. 3) The Brussels EU represents the third attempt of the Cartel to conquer Europe and the world. 4) The master architect of the Brussels EU was Walter Hallstein. Before and during WWII, Hallstein was a member of official Nazi organizations. In 1957, Hallstein implemented the Nazi/IG Farben blueprint for Europe into the ‘Treaties of Rome,’ the founding documents of the ‘Brussels EU’, and subsequently became the first president of the so-called “European Commission” – a post he held for almost ten years. 5) Operating outside the basic principles of democracy, with the people of Europe having neither control over the executive level nor over the legislative process, the modern-day Brussels EU is a dictatorship. 6) The basic strategies being used to enforce the Brussels EU dictatorship today are directly descended from those used by the Nazis following the adoption of the Cartel’s Enabling Act by the German Parliament in 1933.
